"Glenella" A Timeless Country Estate on 105 Magnificent Acres Held quietly in the landscape since 1850, Glenella is one of those rare holdings that feels anchored in time yet entirely liveable for today. With just four to five owners across generations, this is land that has been meticulously cared for. Sweeping across 105 acres of gently undulating country, beautifully fenced in post and barb, this is working farmland wrapped in beauty. Currently running 45 head, with capacity for up to 70 steers, the property is neatly divided into seven re-fenced paddocks, complete with new cattle yards, cattle race, and the sort of practical, well planned infrastructure that lets the land work effortlessly with you. And then… there's the homestead. A quintessential Australian residence, whitewashed and timeless, wrapped in verandahs that spill out to park-like irrigated gardens - 8 to 10 acres of open lawns, curated plantings by the renowned local bontanist Mrs Fletcher, and a sense of calm that settles over you from the moment you arrive. Inside, the home whispers refined country elegance. The centrepiece? A crisp white shaker-style kitchen with a Falcon cooker, beautifully finished and anchored by travertine floors that bring warmth, texture and a quiet luxury to daily life. It's the kind of kitchen that makes cooking feel like a privilege - light, bright, and ready for long lunches, morning coffees and slow Sunday baking. The rooms unfold with warmth and restraint: a generous lounge with feature marble fire surround and slow combustion fire, massive formal dining that could be reduced in size to create another bedroom if required, entry parlour, powder room and two master suites with ensuites and flexibility for a third or fourth - currently utilised as an office. A separate studio offers another two bedrooms with ensuites. Complementing this heart of the home: • Master suite with ensuite and deep bath • Second ensuite bedroom, with flexibility for a third or fourth depending upon requirements • A warm entry parlour • Formal dining with marble fire surround and three sets of doors opening out to the wrap around verandah • Lounge with slow-combustion fire and garden access • Powder room • Ducted reverse cycle air, 80,000L house tank With two self-contained units, a three-car garage with power and lighting, a stone barn for farm machinery storage and possible stables, multiple dams - and strong water security (6.5ML dam licence + 6.5ML bore allocation), Glenella balances productivity with undeniable charm. Three-phase power adds future-proof versatility. This is the kind of holding buyers dream about: productive, picturesque, practical, and rare. A place where your cattle operation runs smoothly while your soul takes a deep breath and simply… settles. What truly sets Glenella apart is its garden and setting, the grounds offer naturalised bulbs from April to October, a garden for all seasons, prolific blue wrens, visiting koalas and endless birdsong. Walks can be gentle or adventurous, straight from your very own farm gate. All this, just minutes from the welcoming village of Macclesfield, with its well stocked local store, two much loved pubs, and a genuinely connected community. Glenella isn't just "somewhere to live". It's a statement. A sanctuary. And for the right buyer, an extraordinary next chapter waiting to be claimed by its next custodian.
