The property was formally a sheep station running up to 24,000 sheep until the issue of dogs became too much for the sellers. They were one of the first in the region to change their mindset and convert their business to a cattle operation in the late 1990's. The also adopted a more conservative approach and reduced stocking with current cattle numbers being approximately 600 Shorthorn/ Herefords. There are still 70 bores located on the property however only 17 are in full use. These all have tanks and 1-2 troughs and are powered by wind or solar.
