Mount Cooper comprises 38 942ha (96 227.78ac) and presents an opportunity to secure one of North Queensland's best presented Turnkey Breeding and Backgrounding operations. An established herd of 4100 head will be included in the sale. The property is strategically located approx. 95km south-east of Charters Towers and 230kms from Townsville and is adjacent to the Burdekin Dam. Its climate is characterised by hot summers and mild winters, coupled to an average annual rainfall of approximately 649 millimetres and is very well regarded for beef production. Topography: predominantly undulating topography with occasional hills surrounded by dissected slopes. Pastures: Developed Softwood scrub carrying buffel and legumes approx.10,000 acres Cat x with approx.6,000 acres recently repulled.
